What is the language of the conference?
When will the conference take place? Where is it located?
Greach 2020 will take place March 26-28, 2020 in Madrid, Spain at Google Campus Madrid.
What is the schedule?
We aim to create an schedule close to last year’s schedule:
- 26th March - 1st day: 9:00 - 18:00
- 27th March - 2nd Conference day: 9:00 - 18:00 - Party after.
- 28th March - 3rd Conference day: 9:00 - 15:30
How can I buy tickets?
You can buy tickets here.
Are workshops included in conference registration?
Past years we have hosted workshops the first day of the conference. We are not sure about this year. If you want to be sure buy a 3 day tickets.
Is food and coffee included?
Yes. Coffee is served during coffee breaks and catering is offered at lunch every day of conference.
I need an invoice for my ticket purchase. Is that possible?
You can request an invoice when you purchase a ticket. Moreover, if you did not select the option when you purchased the ticket, send an email to email@example.com with your company name, address and VAT number and we will send you an invoice.
I only want to attend only one day, is that possible?
No. Currently, only two days or three days tickets are available.
I just want to attend one session. Is that possible to do without registering for the conference?
No, it is not possible.
Who organizes Greach?
Since 2019 the conference is organised by Sergio del Amo and José Miguel Rodríguez. However, Greach has been hosted in Madrid since 2011. Originally created by Alberto Vilches. Later with the help of Iván López, they hosted a great conference for many years and we are happy to take up the baton.
How can I reserve a hotel room, and what are the rates?
We are working on a hotel package for speakers. If you want to sleep in the same hotel, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com (maybe it can be faster to contact us via DM on Twitter: @greachconf.
Is the conference schedule available?
Details will be posted on our website as they are confirmed. A full conference schedule, including conference sessions, will be available on our website in late January.
How can my organization become a conference sponsor?
To become a sponsor and for more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
What services are available for special needs and requests?
Greach 2019 encourages persons with disabilities to participate in their programs and activities. Please contact email@example.com to request services or other accommodations for special needs. If you have dietary preferences, please be sure to mark those on the space provided on the registration form when you register.
I'm a presenter - is there a PowerPoint template I should be using?
No. we will send you a conference logo and a color palette but you are free to use the presentation software or design you want. More information will be send to speakers regarding the necessary equipment.
I'm a presenter - is there a speaker dinner?
Yes, sponsors and speakers get invited to a speaker dinner Wednesday 27th march 2020.
Is there funding available to help with travel/registration costs?
Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
A certificate of attendance is available upon request by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org following the conference.
What is the cancellation policy for the conference?
Registration fees are refundable, less a 5€ processing fee, up until January 15. No refund will be issued for cancellations starting January 15, 2020.
All cancellations must be sent in writing via e-mail to the conference registrar.
Please e-mail cancellations, if possible, and expect confirmation within two business days.
Greach is not responsible for problems beyond our control such as weather conditions, campus conditions, travel difficulties, visa problems, health issues, etc. No refunds will be given in these situations if occurring after January 15.
Bank transfer payments must be received before March 15th. If payment has not been received by this date, the registration will be cancelled.
